Fans stormily flooded the comment section with excitement and anticipation. One wrote, “Drishyam ka part 3 kon kon chahta hai?” while another wrote, “Mujhe laga part 3 aa raha hai.” Some even thought that the mysterious caption was alluding to an announcement for Drishyam 3.

This light-hearted reference to the movie’s plot, with the audience’s excitement, has once again thrown open discussions about the sequel of the third installment in the Drishyam series.

The Success of Drishyam 2

Taking lessons from the previous film, Drishyam 2 showed just how far Vijay Salgaonkar will go to help protect his family. It unfolds more into the deep understandings of the psychological nature and emotions of its characters.

Ajay Devgn seemed truly put to life as an intelligent and resourceful Vijay. The subtlety and intensity marked the performance aptly to the suspenseful screenplay. The film also boasted of an ensemble cast by Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta, thereby adding layers and nuances to the storyline.

From its gripping writing to its precise cinematography and sharp editing, Drishyam 2 struck a chord with audiences and critics alike. It became the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022, solidifying its place as a major box-office success.

Fans Demand a Sequel

The great success with the movie Drishyam 2 has caught all the attention and left everyone eager for the next part of the story. During his recent exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Ajay Devgn addressed this issue when he said a dedicated team is developing the next installment. Kareena Kapoor plays the role of his on-screen wife, Avni Kamat, while Arjun Kapoor essays the role of the antagonist Danger Lanka, who kidnaps Kareena’s character and sets the stage for an intense face-off.

Devgn also made some updates on Shaitaan 2, which is in writing. With several fan-favorite franchises in its pipeline, the actor continues to dominate the Indian cinema landscape.
