Netflix has announced it is partnering with Red Chillies Entertainment for an exclusive untitled Bollywood series in 2025. The show will be first-time creator and director Aryan Khan’s production, and he is being produced by Gauri Khan. Los Angeles — The news of this partnership and mega project was announced this week, at an event featuring some of the most ambitious international titles that will hit the service next year. Showcase event hosted by Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria.

This multi-genre project is set against the backdrop of the film industry and promises to take viewers on an entertaining, unapologetic ride through the adventures of a charming, ambitious outsider navigating the glitzy yet tricky world of Bollywood, according to a press note. The series blends a high-stakes narrative with self-aware humour, featuring blockbuster cameos and larger-than-life characters for an unforgettable, tongue-in-cheek take on Indian cinema, they say.
The upcoming Bollywood series marks the sixth outing between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, after the dark comedy Darlings, which was a hit, the crime-drama Bhakshak, which was well received by critics, Class of ’83, the cop-drama film, Betaal, the zombie horror series, and Bard of Blood, the spy thriller series.
