Diwali releases Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are scheduled to storm theatres all over the world on November 1, 2024. While advance booking in India seems as though it will go down all the way to the wire, they have opened fully, internationally. Although a couple of days back it may not have looked that closely matched, the latter certainly caught up with the former yesterday in terms of matching it daily, although the former still leads.
Comparatively, Singham Again’s opening weekend would fall right between Sooryavanshi’s USD 3.15 million and Simmba’s USD 5.1 million. Sooryavanshi went on to gross USD 8 million while Simmba managed USD 13 million. Singham Again, with a similar word of mouth can hit USD 10 million; the highest of the 3 Singham films. However, Singham Again cannot be seen as just another sequel to Singham Returns and a threequel of Singham. It’s the biggest cop film in the history of the makers, Rohit Shetty.
