Nargis Fakhri mother stands by Aliya and describes her as ‘caring person

According to reports, Aliya Fakhri, sister of Bollywood diva Nargis Fakhri, has been arrested for torching a garage that resulted in the death of her erstwhile boyfriend and a friend in Queens.

Actor Nargis Fakhri’s sister Aliya Fakhri has been charged with fire-related deaths relating to her former boyfriend along with his friend in Queens, New Work the past month. Aliya, 43, has purportedly set fire to a detached garage, which has caused death to 35-year-old Edward Jacobs and his 33-year-old friend Anastasia Ettienne, as per a statement by District Attorney Melinda Katz.

Nargis Fakhri’s Mother Statement

Although Nargis Fakhri hasn’t spent her breath over this matter, her mother has come out to defend Aliya. She said: “I don’t think she would kill somebody. She was the person who cared for everyone. She tried to help everybody,” various news outlets quoted her.

Aliya’s mother stated that her daughter has been addicted to opiates through dental mishaps, which she thinks are responsible for Aliya’s erratic behavior.

What Happened With Nargis Fakhri’s Sister

Shouting downstairs, Aliya on the morning of November 2, yelled, “You’re all going to die today” at Jacobs, who was sleeping upstairs. A passerby, who heard her shout, came outside to see the building engulfed in flames. The tragic incident was confirmed in its release by the District Attorney’s office.

When he was notified, Ettienne hastened downstairs and tried to go back up to save Jacobs. Unfortunately, both of them died from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries, as stated in a press release by District Attorney Katz’s office.

In Parsons Boulevard, Queens, Aliya Fakhri also lived as the event befell in the Jamaica neighborhood.

A grand jury indicted Aliya Fakhri for four counts of first-degree murder, four counts of second-degree murder, and one count each of arson in the first degree and arson in the second degree. The release also mentioned that if convicted on the highest count, she may be sentenced to the maximum penalty of life in prison.

Accusations against the sister of Nargis Fakhri

Aliya Fakhri was indicted by a grand jury for four counts of first degree murder, four counts of second degree murder, and one count each of arson in the first degree and arson in the second degree, as per the release, which also stated she faces a maximum sanction of life in prison if convicted on the top charge.

As per the allegations contained in this indictment, the defendant maliciously extinguished the lives of two individuals by setting a fire which trapped them victimized-a-named person of a male and of a female. Smoke inhalation and thermal injuries have claimed the lives of the victims. Our prayers are with the families of Edward Jacobs and Anastasia Ettienne as they bring this matter to justice,” the press release read.

The announcement continued to state: “As per the charges and findings of investigation, Fakhri, on November 2, arrived sometime around at 6:20 a.m. at the front door to a two-story, detached garage behind the address of 172-27 91st Avenue and yelled upstairs to 35-year-old victim Edward Jacobs, ‘You’re all going to die today.’ Then after a while, a witness inside the property came downstairs only to find the structure ablaze. Etienne was alerted about the fire and came downstairs briefly. She returned upstairs again to rescue Jacobs, who was sleeping. Flames engulfed the entire structure, so neither Jacobs nor Ettienne could escape.”

As per information cited in a number of reports, Aliya’s mother says that she had faced problems related to opioid addiction after a dental mishap, which, according to her, caused her daughter’s behavior.
