Shah Rukh Khan, lovingly referred to as the King of Bollywood, has always been a doting father, and his latest project with his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan proves just that. SRK has lent his voice for the Hindi version of the upcoming December 20, 2024-release Mufasa: The Lion King. Lately he, going candid over revealing himself how this film is literally an image of being a kind of ‘legacy’ for his family and described to his followers how AbRam responded at all that.

When asked if AbRam was involved in the project, pride would have not gone unspoken. He said the youngest member of the family has taken up this opportunity very seriously and added humorously that AbRam must have thought, ” Mai hi karunga aur kaun karega” (I will do it, who else will?).
Everyone at home was thrilled. This project felt like part of our family journey. From The Incredibles to The Lion King, this collaboration feels very personal. Aryan and I have been a part of such projects, and now with AbRam joining it’s like a legacy.

For Aryan, AbRam, and me, this film symbolizes Simba and Baby Mufasa’s legacy, intertwined with our own story.”

He further said that that is the type of experience that his children have had to go through. SRK feels that when his children become old, he sometimes wonders if they will remember the whole thing with a nostalgic sigh or embarrassment or amusement. Be it any which way it is, but for his children, this became their moment.

For Shah Rukh Khan, Mufasa: The Lion King is not another film but a landmark that marks 35 years of experience in the film industry.
