In the glitz of Bollywood, the relations between stars usually attract public attention, especially in cases of separation. Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora are also not left behind. For 19 years, these two were together, but to everybody’s surprise, in 2017, they decided to separate. Well, in fact, the separation was far from dramatic. Rather than letting the differences create a gap, they both worked on what mattered: respect, maturity, and their son, Arhaan Khan. Their story can be taken as a shining example of how divorced couples might still keep harmony intact for the sake of their family, thus showing how, even when marriage comes to an end, mutual respect and love toward your children keep things together.

Arbaaz and Malaika’s Post-Divorce Friendship: Mutual Respect Stays Alive

While many might expect bitterness after such a high-profile divorce, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora prove that mutual respect can make all the difference. They may be separated by their divorce, but their friendly and cooperative attitude remains intact. Even their marriage has been over for them, yet still they have their bond strong because of shared responsibility toward their son, Arhaan, according to Arbaaz. Arbaaz says, “We have been together for so many years and shared so many memories. Most importantly, we have a kid together, so there’s respect for each other.” And sometimes, it is not even needed to spend words on such arguments. Respect doesn’t go away with a divorce, especially when there is a child.

It is clear that though their love story did not blossom between Arbaaz and Malaika, they have managed a relationship of dignity and mutual respect.

Sure does help to discuss separation with no hard feelings, but in the case of others experiencing the same, this couple sure makes an example in handling it right.

Arhaan Khan: The Heart of Their Relationship

Children normally suffer much when their parents separate, but here is Arhaan Khan showing maturity beyond the age factor. Arbaaz says, “He is a perfect son. I love the way he has handled all this.”. Many of the children couldn’t cope up to the new life since their parents separated but everything went on so smoothly with Arhaan, and that speaks a lot to the world about his upbringing and how healthy things were between his parents.

Besides that, it is good to note that Arhaan remained so strong that Arbaaz is pleased to see his son’s attitude, despite it being at a time that could have seen him down in the dumps. A relationship like this can be really rare after a divorce when children are concerned.

The friendly atmosphere enables Arhaan to remain from earth because both his biological and stepfamily continue lovingly caring for him and seem to nurture love between them. Arbaaz maintained that, though they could not stay with them, they chose to live separately without creating any kind of malice, especially for their son. As he said, “If we could not live amicably under one roof, we decided to live separately, but our son has kept us bonded.”
