Bollywood Debut 2025: Next-gen Star Kids Shanaya Kapoor, Aryan Khan, and Rasha Thadani
Here’s what the report card for star kids in the year 2025 looks like- the kids ready to make their debut into the Hindi film industry this year.
Well, this is the beginning of the year 2025 and a whole new roster of star children has arrived to enter the Hindi film industry. Already, some of the lucky ones who have fame, surnames, and social media presence have become fan favorites, but will they be able to live up to the expectations of audiences? Time will tell about that. For now, meet the batch of star kids for 2025:
Shanaya Kapoor
Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, has been waiting for a Bollywood launch for several years now. In 2022, her first film was announced, Bedhadak, opposite Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya; unfortunately, that film was shelved. However, Shanaya has since moved on by signing for Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, opposite Vikrant Massey, a more contemporary romance and ghosting; this film is expected to release in theaters by the end of the year.
Ibrahim Ali Khan
In actuality, Ibrahim Ali Khan has begun his career in the Bollywood film industry, that is when he assisted as an AD in Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023). Today, however, he is all set to media his business as an actor, like his father Saif Ali Khan and sister Sara Ali Khan. His first appearance as an actor is Karan Johar’s Sarzameen, which also stars veteran actress Kajol.
Ahaan Panday
Ahaan Panday, cousin brother of Ananya Panday, has bagged a ‘young love story’ which is being helmed by master filmmaker Mohit Suri. Well, Ahaan already has a fairly big fan following in the social media platform. The credit goes to viral videos from the wedding celebrations of his sister and internet personality Alanna Panday. One such video that shook the internet featured Ahaan and Ananya dancing to the iconic Bollywood party anthem Saat Samundar Paar.
Rasha Thadani
Surely one of the exciting debuts in this list, Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, is going to enter Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor’s next Azaad, slated to be released in theatres on January 17. The audience got to see a little of Rasha’s screen presence in a new song from the film called Uyi Amma, on which she burned the dance floor in her desi avatar, leaving fans wanting more. Her first appearance on screen is much awaited by audiences this month.
Aaman Devgan
Azaad is the first film of very two star kids. Rasha will be seen in the role of Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s nephew Aaman Devgan in the Abhishek Kapoor directorial. As described in the trailer, much of Aaman’s sharing will be with Ajay, who is a supporting actor in the movie. Netizens are very impressed as of now because Aaman looks like a passionate young actor ready to woo the audience.
Simar Bhatia
Simar Bhatia, niece of Akshay Kumar, is one more star kid on this list who has a star uncle. The young beauty is all set to shine- in a dream debut-on the silver screen in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming Ikkis. She shall share the screen with Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and who started his acting career with Zoya Akhtar’s 2023 film The Archies. The film is about late Param Vir Chakra awardee and army officer Arun Khetarpal.
Aryan Khan
And, finally, to cap it all off, the debut of the star child is what the wait has been all about. After Suhana, it is now Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest, who is ready to enter the Indian film industry. He will not be acting, but he will take on the role of a filmmaker. Having already dabbled in voice acting in features like The Incredibles (2004) and The Lion King (2019) alongside his superstar dad, Aryan now is getting set for the release of the web series he has written and directed for Netflix, tentatively titled Stardom. The series features Mona Singh and Lakshya in the central roles.
