Akshay Kumar reunites with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal; fans chant, “Make Hera Pheri 3!”
A recent pictures of Akshay Kumar flying over to Surat with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal caught attention. They all have already worked together earlier in Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri.
Recently, Akshay Kumar was seen sharing stage space with his Hera Pheri co-stars Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal at the Kalina airport in Mumbai. The actors posed for photographers before flying off to Surat. As the former co-stars sat together, the fans began speculating Hera Pheri 3
The Hera Pheri trio leaves for Surat with a reunion in mind
Suniel and Paresh accompanied Akshay as they headed to Surat where the latter invited his colleagues co-stars to his Martial Arts Academy. The actors have previously worked in two successful installments of the comedy franchise titled – Hera Pheri directed by Priyadarshan and Phir Hera Pheri directed by Neeraj Vora.
It is here that Akshay, Suniel, Paresh came out to get photographed with the photofinishers before going inside the airport. As the paparazzi shouted out Raju, Shyam and Babu Bhaiya, Akshay playfully turned Paresh’s head. The trio smiled and waved to all and sundry before disappearing into Surat.
A fan commented, “Hera Pheri 3 banao“. Another fan wrote, “Hera Pheri again?”. The funny way Akshay turned Babu Bhaiyya’s head-one of the fans commented with (laughing emojis). One user also quoted, “3 legends in one frame”.
“HERA PHERI” STORY
Ghanshyam “Shyam” (Suniel Shetty) arrives in Bombay from a small village to join a bank, where his late father, Sunderlal, worked. He was killed when the bank caught fire years ago. According to rules and regulations, the bank must rehire him in place of his father. He is challenged by the daughter of another employee, who also died in the fire, Anuradha Shivshankar Panikar (Tabu).
Shyam stays in the house of a near-sighted but benevolent garage owner, Baburao Apte (Paresh Rawal), who has also given another of his rooms’ to Raju (Akshay Kumar), a would-be film star, with aspirations of doing big things in the city but currently broke and unable to pay rent for several months now.
Shyam has come to the city so that he can return Rs.35000/- he borrowed from Kharak Singh (Om Puri), who in turn needs the money to get his sister married. Baburao needs money to pay off his debtors. And to add to this chaos, Baburao keeps on getting a series of wrong numbers on his telephone, asking for Deviprasad.
He is on a call one day from Kabira (Gulshan Grover) who demands a ransom from Baburao, thinking it is Deviprasad (Kulbhushand Kharbanada).The trio decide to “liase” between the victim’s dad and the kidnappers and keep some of the money for themselves. Murphy’s Law prevails and things get even more hilariously chaotic, as the trio are running from Kabeera; the police; more wrong numbers; and Kharak Singh.
Akshay Kumar’s upcoming films
Watch out for Akshay, Suniel and Paresh in Ahmed Khan’s Welcome to The Jungle. Disha Patani, Sanjay Dutt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Rajpal Yadav, Johny Lever among others will be up for some good performances in the upcoming comedy.
Akshay will be seen next in the aerial action war drama Sky Force by Abhishek Anil Kapur. The film has Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, Veer Paharia and others in main roles. And then comes Jolly LLB 3 starring Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. Akshay even had a cameo in Kannappa-the Kannada epic-drama where he plays Lord Shiva. He also has an extended cameo as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Marathi period drama – Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.
