Pushpa 2 has comfortably over-topped both *Baahubali 2 and KGF Chapter 2 in their first seven days with a huge margin. It leads over ₹111 crore and ₹192 crore, respectively.
While Pushpa 2has set a record for first-week box office, it still has an uphill task to surpass the lifetime collections of Baahubali 2 at ₹1,347 crore and KGF Chapter 2 at ₹987 crore. Going by its current run and lead over KGF Chapter 2, the film would accumulate ₹510–530 crore in the next few weeks that would propel it to ₹1,280–1,300 crore. Still, that is a long way off from Baahubali 2‘s lifetime gross.

- Long Holiday Weekends: This is the main advantage for Baahubali 2 and KGF Chapter 2 when it comes to Pushpa 2. It benefits from Christmas and New Year holidays in its fourth and fifth week. It can work really well to collect.
