Pushpa 2 has comfortably over-topped both *Baahubali 2 and KGF Chapter 2 in their first seven days with a huge margin. It leads over ₹111 crore and ₹192 crore, respectively.
While Pushpa 2has set a record for first-week box office, it still has an uphill task to surpass the lifetime collections of Baahubali 2 at ₹1,347 crore and KGF Chapter 2 at ₹987 crore. Going by its current run and lead over KGF Chapter 2, the film would accumulate ₹510–530 crore in the next few weeks that would propel it to ₹1,280–1,300 crore. Still, that is a long way off from Baahubali 2‘s lifetime gross.

Advantage to Pushpa 2

Long Holiday Weekends: This is the main advantage for Baahubali 2 and KGF Chapter 2 when it comes to Pushpa 2. It benefits from Christmas and New Year holidays in its fourth and fifth week. It can work really well to collect.
Week on Week Weekends
Pushpa 2 has been fabulous throughout the week and will surely be good in the second weekend. If it can sustain a 25-30% lead over KGF Chapter 2, it can bag big in its last weeks.
Mass Appeal:
The massive appeal of the film all over multiple languages and various regions ensures a constant intake of audiences. Allu Arjun’s strong presence combined with Sukumar’s gripping tale, has clicked with both the people as well as the critics. —–

For Pushpa 2

In that case it was too much of a big thing to vanquish Baahubali 2.
This, by any measure and milestone achieved never before any release has even crossed two and more weeks consistently well after third and crossed into its fourth and fifth week box offices. Leaving above three new release apart, movies like Kalki 2898 AD, and Gadar 2, will end a relatively stiff fight with the later dates that should work in against the box offices of Pushpa 2.

It is a war ground in box office related to epics like Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2, and KGF Chapter 2. Till date, it has culminated at the behest of this epical by virtue of emerging fastest grossing for Indian Cinema through Pushpa 2. It would script time itself if it continues up till now but has performed in such an admirable way to take seat to over-throwing that history written by Baahubali 2.
