Sai Pallavi travels to the Annapurna Devi Temple, at Varanasi, to obtain blessings for her movie ‘Ramayana’
Sai Pallavi would play the role of Sita in the adaptation of Indian epic Ramayana by the master storyteller Nitesh Tiwari. While the role of Rama has been donned by Ranbir Kapoor, Yash will essay Ravana.
In fact, Sai Pallavi is training very hard for her part as Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation from the Indian epic Ramayana. She is not just preparing physically. This actor recently visited the Annapurna Devi Temple in Varanasi to take the blessings of the goddess for her preparation.
Sai Pallavi visits Varanasi
On Monday morning, a fan club of Sai on X shared photographs of the actor seeking blessings at Annapurna Devi Temple, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. She wore a beautiful blue salwar suit with a matching dupatta. She tied marigold garlands, adorned her forehead with tilak, and folded her hands before the deity. In another frame, she was seen offering prayers with eyes closed.
Is Sai Pallavi Becoming vegetarian?
About two weeks ago, Sai boiled down her reaction to all the nosy rumors that dragged her into the vegetarian mold for playing Sita in her much-talked-about film. According to reports on various media channels, Sai had pledged to become strict vegetarian until filming was over and was said to have even taken her personal chef on travel abroad to ensure meal preparation was 100 percent vegetarian.
In a strong statement against the false reports, she took to X to address these fabricated claims. Most of the time, almost every time, I choose to stay silent when I see baseless rumors, fabricated lies, and incorrect statements being spread-whether with or without motives (God knows). But it’s high time I react as it keeps happening consistently and doesn’t seem to cease, especially around the time of my films’ releases, announcements, or cherishable moments of my career!” she wrote in the post.
Actress continued in raising her voice against the media reports
The actress continued in raising her voice against the media reports, saying she would not sit back and take it lightly if the news continued to spread. “Next time I see any ‘reputed’ page or media/individual carrying a cooked-up story in the name of news or gossip, you will hear from me legally! Period!” she added.
Ramayana is an ambitious two-part adaptation of the Indian epic, and it has already begun to create a buzz with its star-cast and high-profile production team.
Ranbir Kapoor would be seen in the titular role of Lord Rama. Yash has also been cast as Ravana. This film is co-produced by Yash and Namit Malhotra, who has worked on Hollywood blockbusters like Dune and Inception before.
Sai Pallavi Is A True Vegetarian
As per a Tamil daily, the actor is said to have put off his meat eating as she plays the role of Sita. It further claimed that she travels with her own team of cooks during her travels, who make only vegetarian food for her.
Sai Pallavi, it should be mentioned, has always been a vegetarian. Once while giving an interview the actor was supposed to have said, “If you take food, I’m always a vegetarian. I cannot see when a life dies. I cannot hurt another person and then think that it’s okay, they deserve it.”
