Vikrant Massey’s The Sabarmati Report Earns Praise, to Be Screened by PM Narendra Modi

At last, the movie, Vikrant Massey’s The Sabarmati Report, hasn’t stopped talking since the film’s theatrical release on 15 November 2024. And this film which had criticism and where it had talked on each medium will now be screened for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2 December at Balyogi Auditorium of Delhi Parliament Library Building.
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will watch Vikrant Massey’s film,  The Sabarmati Report, today at 4 p.m. It has been revealed that honorable PM will visit Balyogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building, Delhi, to watch the movie.

However, he had welcomed the trailer of the film earlier when he was using X. On November 17, he commented on a post about the film: “This truth is coming out too under the cinematic lens.”.
“Excellent speech! Great that this truth is finally coming out, and, well, that too in such a fashion common people can see. An artificial narrative can only linger for a certain period. Facts will eventually come to light! “

Other political leaders also appreciated it. Union Home Minister ‘Amit Shah’ appreciated the film and its makers for taking such a bold step to present such a hard-hitting narrative. Talking to the cast, he said,
Met the team of The Sabarmati Report and congratulated them for their courage to narrate the truth. The film unmasks the lies and misrepresentations against it to present the long suppressed truth in order to meet political ends. #SabarmatiReport.

About The Sabarmati Report

It’s a very gripping love drama. The movie is under the banners of Balaji Telefilms and is being produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, it stars Vikrant Massey and his supporters Ridhi Dogra and Raashii Khanna.

It is based on the true story of the burning of S-6 coach of the Sabarmati Express at Godhra on February 27, 2002. The result of this heinous attack, in which 59 Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya were burnt alive, was the setting of riots all over Gujarat and the shaping of the socio-political scenario of the state and the country.
