The actress once again made headlines when she stepped out wearing a t-shirt with pictures of her boyfriend printed on it. She had already created a buzz by wearing a necklace that read ‘Shiku’, hinting towards her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya.
Janhvi Kapoor was seen with her co-star from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Varun Dhawan. Posing with them were staff members from a luxury hotel in Nashik. The picture was then shared on the official Instagram handle of Courtyard By Marriot hotel in Nashik. The caption along with it read, “We just had the honour of hosting the incredibly talented Bollywood stars @janhvikapoor and @varundvn and it has really been one of those ‘pinch us’ moments.”

Janhvi wore a white t-shirt, that had her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya’s name and photos printed on it. In no time, the picture was all over social media with fans going gaga over it. One of them captioned it synonymous to “Cutest.” Another commented, “This is so adorable.”

Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya had started dating before the actress even stepped into the industry, but their love story faced some difficult moments later. Recently, however, the duo seems to have been able to ignite the spark in their love life and has since been seen spending some time together and attending several events with each other.

Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the movie Devara-Part 1 wherein she romanced Jr NTR. It was directed by Siva, marking her and Saif Ali Khan’s Telugu debut, which became a great box-office hit. The actress is now shooting for Karan Johar’s production, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan, which stars Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, Rohit Saraf, and Sanya Malhotra in key roles and is expected to be released in theatres on April 18, 2025.
What Janhvi Had to Say
Janhvi confessed on why she ended her relationship with Shikhar, whom she was dating back then. “I would break up with this guy literally every month in the couple of years of my periods. The first two, three months, he was in shock, but then he would be like, ‘Yes, okay,’ and after two days, I would go crying and saying sorry to him. I wouldn’t understand why my brain was working like this. It was very extreme,” she shared.
She added that she got her heart broken by Shikhar but soon after had him to mend her heart. “I have genuinely experienced heartbreak only one time in life but the same person came back and put my heart together. So, it was all good,” she said. Janhvi had been in a relationship with Shikhar for several years before she joined Bollywood. Then she went on to date her first co-star, Ishaan Khatter, during the shooting of Shashank Khaitan’s romantic drama Dhadak in 2018. After parting ways with Ishaan, she returned in the arms of Shikhar.
Janhvi’s Next Projects
For IIT Bhavan this is in preparation for his next film, Ulajh. The trailer for Ulajh delineates Janhvi Kapoor as Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, on a tough mission at the London embassy- under close watch.
Gulshan Devaiah joins the cast as a mysterious undercover agent. Roshan Mathew is also a part of the ensemble. The trailer hints at an internal leak that jeopardises the lives of undercover agents and throws Suhana into a desperate struggle for survival.
