Malaika Arora’s Mother was called to College for Attendance issues, which led to Ads and Shows
Malaika has from a very young age always accepted that he had a responsibility towards her single mother, managing house.

In a very new episode of Curly Tales, Malaika stated that her mother Joyce Polycarp used to receive calls from her college regarding her short attendance.
Malaika looks Back
“When I was studying, one of the questions asked from her was about how she got into modelling in college.” This question was answered by Malaika: “Actually, I finished two years of college at Jai Hind, then started modelling. It got really tough because meri mummy ko college se call aane lag gaye about my bad attendance” (Mother starts getting calls from college about bad attendance).”
She had been doing some ads and some shows. After this, she told her mom she wanted to work because she wanted to be independent.
Here, I live away from my parents. I needed independence. For much stuff, I wanted to prove something, earning from something that gave me satisfaction in this. About money, Money is a by product to anything else you do. I did not need it to maintain a household myself. But be it: I thought it was a good way to help a single mother. I felt good being there to contribute to that situation. Not that my mom ever expected it, but I felt it was my duty as the older daughter.” She said.
Malaika has been Posting her Pictures with her Mother
Usually, Malaika has been posting her pictures with her mother, Joyce. She once told Grazia in 2022 that the relationship with her mother would now just be viewed with “a new and different lens”.
It was wonderful childhood for her, but it was not very smooth: rather, I think of it as tumultuous in retrospect. I would like to say- ‘But tough times teach important lessons.’ Independence gave me the opportunity to look at my mother from a new angle, entirely unique.”
Malaika Arora was only 11 years old, when her parents mother (Joyce Polycarp) and late father Anil Arora separated. At that time, Malaika’s sister-amrita , was six years old. The two sisters moved with their mother Joyce from Thane to Chembur where they were raised after the divorce.
According to a source connected with actor HT City, though, there is actually nobody in her life at this time. “Please check your facts. She is a single and happy woman. Rahul Vijay is her son Arhaan’s stylist, and therefore just a friend; that’s all there is to it.

It all started when Vijay got up on an Instagram Story of himself indicating how Malaika was basking it during the latest concert of AP Dhillon in Mumbai. “Wait, was it a Malaika concert?” read the picture captions. There is selfies of both floating elsewhere, stirring up flames. Now, you know well that they don’t really have anything going on between themselves.
This year, Malaika ended her relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor. This was confirmed when he made the announcement during the promotions of Singham Again in Mumbai. When someone shouted Malaika’s name from the crowd, he said, “Nahi ab main single hoon, relax karo.”
