The fans took to the comments section with so much love for this heart melting moment between Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have some exceptionally exciting news coming their way in the form of their first child together. The couple, who quite rigorously keeps their private life, was last seen giving a glimpse-in for fans of a very special moment. KL Rahul has shared some previously unseen pictures from his days spent in Australia-including a very putatively cherished form-wherein he looks lovingly upon his pregnant wife, Athiya.

Athiya Showed off her Baby Bump

KL Rahul posted moments from his Australia trip on Instagram really recently. He was in the country in order to play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on dates 2024-25. The first picture shows KL Rahul who sits in a cafe on a street with his coffee; in the second, there are two cups of coffee and a brownie, suggesting coffee date with Athiya.

The photo dump contained candid shots of the cricketer in his daily life, whether it was getting inside his car, standing in front of the house, or sitting on a bench. Another image was a serene beachscape, and the last photo was the game-changer.

However, the final photo was the game-changer. The picture showed a heartwarming moment where KL and Athiya were seated out of a cute cafe. Athiya looked stunning, sipping coffee while clad in a snug warm sweater and oversized grey denim pants. Her husband couldn’t keep his eyes off her, captivatedly staring at her baby bump. Some sweet love, a cinnamon bun, lay between them, complementing more the cozy and joyful atmosphere.

Both performers came out. Anushka, who was beautifully wearing a white shirt and light blue jeans, walked slightly in front, next to Athiya in a striped t-shirt and denim skirt. Chit-chatting along the way with someone on the team and few distances behind Anushka stood Athiya.

Nitish played a match-favorite role for his family and Anushka, making a picture with the family pose. Anushka was posing in a solo shot with the family of Cricketer Reddy Nitish Kumar after the Test match on a Saturday. Nitish turned the star cricket player for the 3rd day as per his Boxing Day debut with the first international century over against Australia. His father shared the picture on his Instagram Stories, with the caption: “A lovely moment.”

Athiya Announces Her Pregnancy

The world learned of Athiya and her pregnancy last year, in November, when she and KL Rahul took to Instagram to announce to excited fans and well-wishers. Interestingly, the twosome had come together exactly for this reason, sharing a common note about what was going on in their lives. The note read,”Our beautiful blessing is on the way. 2025″, along with a beautiful announcement through images of baby feet and the evil eye. Daughter of Suniel, actor, wrote it out for the fan, albeit with a white heart emoji.

The friends and family members reacted with comments of “Congratulations” as soon as the news was out. During January 2019, KL Rahul first met her through a common friend which lit a spark for them. Since then, they have enjoyed their close relationship over the last couple of years. After being together for several years, Athiya married KL Rahul in the year 2023. They married at Sunil’s farmhouse in Khandala with just a few close friends and family present.
