Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to break box-office records, defying all odds and establishing itself as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Despite its release in the midst of fierce competition, Pushpa 2 has managed to carve its own path to success, raking in phenomenal numbers at the box office. The Hindi version alone has grossed over Rs 550 crore, and the second Wednesday brought in a staggering Rs 15 crore. The film is now on the verge of hitting a remarkable Rs 600 crore in the Hindi markets, and its total box office collections have already surpassed Rs 1000 crore in India.

Let’s get into the details of this mass entertainer’s amazing journey, its constant run at the box office, and its fight ahead with other upcoming films.

Pushpa 2 Hindi: A Steady Ascent to Glory

The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 has dominated the box office since it came out in several languages. Right from its opening week, the film minted a whopping Rs 391.5 crore. The film has gone on to pull in enormous crowds, even into its second week, minting Rs 115.5 crore over the second weekend alone. What perhaps differentiates Pushpa 2 is how well it maintains this sort of strong momentum in Hindi-speaking markets. That, as the makers of this South Indian film will understand, does not happen that often.

The second Wednesday collected Rs 15 crore, showing the film is doing fantastic even after two weeks since its release. Such collection after a week of openings signifies that the appeal has not remained limited to that weekend alone but has passed way beyond it and made people engaged with the story till date. Till Day 14, the overall collection stands at Rs 557 crore, and the film does not seem to slow down at all.

Pushpa 2 Success Story Nationwide Box Office Tsunami

The success of Pushpa 2 is not limited to a particular region but is all-India. It has broken the multi-language barrier as the film’s gigantic success comes from the Hindi version. The film has collected over Rs 1000 crore in the Indian market and ranks as one of the top-grossing Indian films this year.

As with the case of any competing film, like Miss You, which opened to the wrong end, the good word at the box office concerning the film has been non-solitable despite the competition. Given this situation, Pushpa 2 has been the strongest as it cuts across various geographical regions with its wide and alluring story appeal in that pushes it ahead in the competition of Indian films. Even in Hindi and South Indian markets, Pushpa 2 has been witnessing a paramount reign.

Hindi Box Office: Pushpa 2 vs. Vanvaas and Baby John

When the trend continues with Pushpa 2, the Hindi box office will soon find another new comer to the theaters, Vanvaas starring Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma on December 20. Although Vanvaas is promising, there will not be any buzz or hype in this movie to take a lot of people in its way, especially after what is created by Pushpa 2.

Real challenge will come to Pushpa 2 on December 25, when Varun Dhawan’s Baby John will hit the screens. The festive season, with Christmas and New Year, in full swing, might favor this film. However, as Pushpa 2 continues its relentless run and enjoys a well-established fanbase, it is expected to retain the top spot for moviegoers in the Hindi market.

Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun’s Grip on Audience

Behind this phenomenon, lies the actor Allu Arjun, who with his characterization of Pushpa Raj, has hit a chord. He has always been the mass hero who has captured the audience, and in his presence alone, he is a sufficient reason for people to rush into theaters. With the strong performance by Rashmika Mandanna, this film is just apt for its success.

The success of Pushpa 2 can be credited to a high-octane action, thrilling plot, and superstar value added to the leads. It’s the plot about the growth of Pushpa Raj in the smuggling arena that has captured viewers’ imaginations, and particularly Hindi-speaking markets have grown so enamored of Allu Arjun, it feels.

Will Pushpa 2 cross Rs 600 crore in Hindi markets?

Pushpa 2 is inching closer to the Rs 600 crore mark in the Hindi box office as of now. With minimal competition until Baby John releases on December 25, it is almost certain that the film will cross this milestone by the third weekend. The continued interest in the film, coupled with the festive season, will help Pushpa 2 remain at the forefront of the box office race.

It’s safe to say Pushpa 2 has set new standards for box office collection, not only for South Indian films but for the rest of the Indian film industries. Whether it can go on to sustain the momentum and at some point in time compete to be among the all-time high-grossing films can only be seen later down the line. Still, the current performance and popularity among the audience make this look like a game-changer for years to come.
