The Game Changer poster has received Flak from Netizens, who criticize Kiara Advani’s look as “Disastrous”
The looks donned by Kiara Advani give rise to chagrin and maximum bafflement to every fan in the current promotional poster for the third single of Game Changer; read the rest along.
As the much-awaited film Game Changer by S. Shankar is approaching its 2025 release, the official poster for its upcoming audio single in promotion, “Naanaa Hyraanaa,” was worn out recently. Featuring Kiara Advani as an apsara, photographs did not get much approval online, while many netizens also expressed disappointment regarding her look.
Romantic number penned by Ramjogayya Sastry and composed by Thaman S, praised for its star-studded lineup of singers like Karthik and Shreya Ghoshal. But visual treatment does not seem to have created the same kind of buzz. Kiara, who usually rocks the boat with her style choices, has been let down by this promotional look.
Kiara’s ‘BOND GIRL’ Poster
At first, fans expected this character in the movie to be interpreted with a “Bond girl” style, according to previous posters. However, the fresh look disappointed them as well as left them thoroughly confused. As netizens came together on Reddit over a thread named, “Wtf is this ?? ATP Kiara should just sue the game changer movie unit,” expressing their views on how the creative directors really flunked, the comments read as follows: “NOOOOO WAY IS THAT HER WTAF the first one is so so bad.
Her eyebrows r so uneven, expression seems wrong and her makeup is so caked,” expressed a truly disappointed fan. “Bhai ye Kiara nahi ho sakti. That first pic, how did anyone approve it? Unless they want her to look bad on purpose,” said another. Another netizen took it to another level saying, “The first one looks ridiculously bad. It seems like her anti-fan edited her pictures.”
Kiara’s Comparison with Om Shanti Om Poster
Many people were also reminded of Deepika Padukone’s Om Shanti Om poster, which released almost a decade back. “He puts the first poster as cheap version of Deepika in OM shanti Om like wtf is this sh*t, been making for 3 years now, and they did this,” said one commenter. Added another: “I’m distracted by the horrible photoshopping, though.”.
Although the song is being released today, it is interesting to see whether the music video would sufficiently save the lukewarm responses garnered by the poster. Fans are thus left arguing over the possible missed opportunity in not being able to portray Kiara Advanis in a really path-breaking manner. This will be the second Telugu film for Kiara opposite Ram Charan after Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019).
About ‘GAME CHANGER‘
“Naanaa Hyraanaa” is yet another number of Ramjogayya Sastry in Telugu and has singers Karthik and Shreya Ghoshal for rendering the romantic song, which will be made in Tamil and Hindi versions also. The version in Tamil is ‘Lyraanaa’ written by Vivek, and Kausar Munir is credited for the Hindi version ‘Jaana Hairaan Sa’. Reports have suggested that the cost incurred for the making of this track amounts to Rs 15 crores.
Coming to ‘Game Changer’ by Shankar, is based on a story penned by Karthik Subbaraj, starring Ram Charan as an IAS officer. Ram Charan, in fact, is supposed to play a dual role in the film. The cast also includes SJ Suryah, Anjali, Samuthirakani, Jayaram, and Srikanth in important roles.
However, Ram Charan is preparing for the shooting of Buchi Babu Sana’s RC16 along with Janhvi Kapoor.
