Parvathy Supports Nayanthara in Legal Battle Against Dhanush: “She’s Not Someone Who Speaks Without Purpose”
In a recent display of solidarity, actress Parvathy expressed her support for Nayanthara as the latter faces a legal battle against actor Dhanush. The controversy begins after Dhanush filed a Rs 10 crore lawsuit against Nayanthara for using a brief clip from his production Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the Netflix docuseries trailer Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. In reply to the open letter, Dhanush’s legal team issued a statement which ran to the effect that legal action will be taken unless the infringing content was deleted within 24 hours. The statement called for a clip in her documentary to be removed, or the actor Dhanush would file for damages of Rs 10 crore for copyright violation.
