Speculation arises as Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 faces another Delay
Ranveer Singh has his personal life flourishing on one hand, but on the professional front, it appears quite doubtful if the hullabaloo goes by the dotation surrounding Don 3.
The criticism that he faced while being signed as the face of the Don franchise was unreal to say the least. People just did not seem to warm up to it. In a lengthy post about it being a full circle moment in his life and a dream realised, Ranveer promised to give it his all in taking forward the indelible legacy of the anti-hero, which Amitabh Bachchan invented and Shah Rukh Khan perfected. But not any time soon, or perhaps ever.

Well, an official announcement is yet to come out, but trade reports strongly hint that the shooting schedule for the project has been pushed back by six months – from January 2025 to June 2025. Remember, Ranveer Singh was announced as the third face of Don 3 last year, and the film has seen itself passing through several rumored delays.
The intention seemed quite true in launching the project at the time; the leading lady, Kiara Advani, was cast for it, but even she appears to have little chance of staring in the movie under present prospects. Or so they tell it on the internet, with predictions that this postponement might then be an indication that the project was just shelved. Cyber sleuths have zeroed in on the prime cause of the alleged delay (or canning) by focusing on the huge budget.
The work before production has started up already, and all fans are excited about the release of the big screen. Farhan Akhtar directs Don 3, which promises to be action-packed. The original film starred Amitabh Bachchan, and the next two films starred Shah Rukh Khan. Kiara Advani will also star in Don 3 as the female lead. Farhan’s post on social media reads “Welcome to the Don universe Kiara Advani,” to which she replied, “Thrilled to be part of the iconic Don franchise and to be working with this incredible team! Seeking all your love and support as we set out on this exciting journey together.
