Ravi Dubey is perfect in saying Ranbir Kapoor is the most graceful artist he has ever come across in his life, while both actors talked about how the film was narrated to him.

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana stands out among highly-anticipated movies for the recent times. Ever since the announcement, fans have been constantly waiting for anything about the film, from casting to its release date, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash-Now Ravi Dubey confirmed that he will play Lakshman in an interview.

The actor stated that this film was made with much earnestness and collective sincerity.

What Ravi Dubey Said in an Interview

When asked if he will be the one playing Lakshman, Ravi answered, “With due permission of my makers, yes, I am. What I felt was there was a certain sanctity to the project and I feel Namit sir, Nitesh sir, might have a plan as to how they want to talk about it.

I will be corrupted if I just blurt out things frivolously in front of people. It would be very unhygienic for me to say ‘No comment’ which will be as good as a comment. So I took a due permission from them and I told them that if at all this question comes up then what should I say? When they said yes, is when I am saying yes.”

Ravi Dubey First Time Worked with Ranbir Kapoor

Ravi further termed this narration of the film as ‘earnest’ and ‘sincere’. Speaking of Ranbir Kapoor, he said, “This is my first time working alongside a megastar like Ranbir Kapoor and his kindness, empathy, quietness and grace towards everyone… (is great).

He will work so hard but he will not come on a set and make it look like, to me, like this. Every time he is in front of camera you will see he has been at it because he really is. He is the only commercial, viable artist of this generation. He is the most graceful person I have come across, and I regard and love him like my own elder brother.”

It is said that full-fledged preparations are in place for the pre-production of Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Earlier this year, a leaked picture from the film set showing Ranbir and Sai Pallavi in costumes set the internet on fire. While the movie team is yet to make an official announcement, there has been considerable buzz about the film for a long time now. The makers plan to release the film in 2025.

What Yash Said in an Interview

Yash on his part During the interview, Yash said he was speaking with Namit Malhotra of DNEG and Prime Focus when he heard Ramayana for the first time. Yash said that he was impressed with his passion and their thought process on the matter lined with the vision. Later he asked Namit if he wanted to be part of his film for the role of Ravana.

In response, Yash said: If the character is treated like a character…and if this doesn’t happen today, then the film won’t happen. To make a film with that kind of budget, you need those kind of actors to come together to work for the project. It has to be beyond yourself and your stardom. The project and the vision have to be placed first. He stated that the conversation went along and he decided to co-produce the film.
